What you need

Install

  1. Download the disk image from aimmac.app.
  2. Open it and drag AimMac to your Applications folder.
  3. Launch it. The app is signed and notarized, so macOS opens it without warnings.

The first time you connect to a device, macOS asks for Local Network permission. Allow it — without it AimMac can't see your logger.

The main window

The sidebar on the left has three permanent destinations:

Below those, a Session analysis section appears whenever you have a session open. Each open session is its own row: click to switch, hover for an × to close, drag to reorder.

At the bottom of the window, the status bar shows device connection and whatever job is currently running — a download, a CSV export, a video render, a background transcode.

⌘[ and ⌘] go Back and Forward through everywhere you've been — sidebar destinations, device pages, track selections, and each session's analysis sub-section.
